Miikka Kiprusoff is a former professional ice hockey goaltender from Finland. He is the son of Jarmo Kiprusoff. The name of his mother is not public knowledge.

His father Jarmo Kiprusoff was also a ice hockey player. He played as a goalkeeper in the SM series in the season 1970–1971 in the Kiekko-67 team.
He was part of the lineup in all 22 games of the season, but only got on the field in three games, where he got two minutes on the ice.
Marko, his older brother, is a defenseman who last played with TPS in 2009 and has previously played in the NHL for the Montreal Canadiens and the New York Islanders

Kiprusoff played the majority of his career in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Calgary Flames. In the 2003-2004 season, he helped lead the Flames to the Stanley Cup Finals, where they ultimately lost to the Tampa Bay Lightning
Kiprusoff’s impressive statistics include a career goals-against average (GAA) of 2.49 and a career save percentage of .912. He holds numerous franchise records for the Calgary Flames, including most wins in a season (45), most career shutouts (41), and the lowest single-season GAA (1.69).
Miikka Kiprusoff retired from professional hockey on September 9, 2013, after a successful career.
