Gustavo Badell was a Puerto Rican International Federation of BodyBuilders professional bodybuilder born in Venezuela. Gustavo Badell passed away on on July 13, 2023, by stroke, at the age of 50.

Gustavo Badell was born in Venezuela and relocated to Puerto Rico at the age of 22. He began doing weights at the age of fifteen to bulk up for boxing. Gustavo bulked up quickly, and at the age of 19, he competed in and won his first bodybuilding competition, the 1991 Junior Caribbean Bodybuilding Championships.

He was able to get professional after six years of weight training by winning the 1997 Caribbean Championships. His first participation in the International Federation of BodyBuilders came in 1998, when he competed in the Grand Prix of Germany.
Badell competed in the Arnold Classic, World Pro Championships, Ironman Pro, and Atlantic City Pro in addition to the Mr. Olympia competition. He retired in 2012 and has since promoted personal fitness online.
