Why does Tim Ream wear headphones?

Soccer star Tim Ream had worn headphones sometime in March, during a game against Arsenal, just to show support for a young mascot.

Fans found his actions quite fascinating and took to social media to express their approval.

A fan wrote: “Tim Ream wearing noise cancelling headphones with his mascot today, great touch.”

Another fan tweeted: “Tim Ream wearing sensory headphones like the girl helping lead Fulham out to the field. What a legend!”

Tim Ream Career

Tim Ream’s career has seen him play for several clubs in both the United States and England.

Ream began his professional career with the New York Red Bulls in Major League Soccer (MLS) in 2010, making 65 appearances, and scoring one goal.

In 2012, he was transferred to Bolton Wanderers in the English Football League Championship, making over 200 appearances, and scoring three goals.

Ream moved to Fulham in 2015, and played a vital role in the club’s promotion to the Premier League during the 2017-2018 season.

Ream has also represented the United States at the international level since 2010, and has featured in tournaments and qualifiers, including the CONCACAF Gold Cup and FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

During the 2022 FIFA World Cup, Ream started all four games for the U.S. in Qatar, helping his team make it to the round of 16.
