Hiam Abbass ex-husband: Who is Zinedine Soualem?

Zinedine Soualem is a French actor of Algerian descent. Soualem and Abbass were married for some time, until they divorced. Together they have two children – Mouna and Lina.

Abbass has previously been romantically involved with Scottish actor Brian Cox.

Hiam Abbass has had a successful career for many decades now, beginning from the late 1980s and early 1990s.

Some of her early works include the 1980s productions Saturn Returns, and Beyond the Walls, before she gained international recognition for her role as Amal in the film “Satellite” in 2001.

As an actress, she appeared in many English and Arabic language films and TV series, including The Syrian Bride, Paradise Now, Free Zone, Munich, The Visitor, Lemon Tree, Insyriated, Blade Runner 2049, The Promise, The Red Tent, Ramy, and The Old Man.

As a director, Abbass first directed the film Inheritance in 2012, which premiered at the Venice Film Festival and received positive reviews.
