Who is Murray Bartlett? Meet the Australian guy in White Lotus

Murray Bartlett is an Australian actor famous for appearing as Dom Basaluzzo in the HBO comedy-drama series Looking and playing Armond in the 2023 series The White Lotus.

Born on March 20, 1971, in Sydney, New South Wales Australia, Bartlett attended John Curtin College of the Arts in Fremantle, and the National Institute of Dramatic Art in Sydney.

He began acting as far back as 1993, and had his breakthrough when he guest-starred in the HBO series Sex and the City. Some of his early films include Farscape, The Boy From Oz, Guiding Light and HeadLand.

So far, Bartlett has appeared in many notable films such as Tales of the City, in which he played Mouse Tolliver, the Apple TV+ series Physical, Welcome to Chippendales, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, White Collar, Nashville, and The Last of Us.

In the 2023 HBO post-apocalyptic drama series The Last of Us, Bartlett appeared as Frank in the episode “Long, Long Time”.

So far, Bartlett has earned a number of nominations and awards such as the Screen Actors Guild Awards, the Independent Spirit Awards, the AACTA Awards, Critics’ Choice Television Awards, and Primetime Emmy Awards.
