About Joshua Da Silva

Joshua Da Silva was born on June 19, 1998, in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, and is of Portuguese, Canadian and Madeira descent.

Da Silva attended Saint Mary’s College in Port of Spain, and began his cricket career at an early age.

He currently plays domestic and international cricket as a wicket-keeper and right-handed batsman, for Trinidad and Tobago, St Kitts & Nevis Patriots, and the West Indies.

Da Silva made his domestic debut in for Trinidad and Tobago in 2019, and his international debut for the West Indies Test squad in 2020.

In 2021, he scored a century (100 runs) in his ODI debut for the West Indies against Bangladesh.

Since 2023, Da Silva has served as captain of the Windies A, as his performances continue to give him recognition in international cricket.
