Neil Sedaka is a musician whose career spans decades, recording huge success that has earned him a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and an Art Gilmore Career Achievement Award.
Sedaka who is widely known for writing the hit song “(Is This the Way to) Amarillo”, has so far sold millions of records worldwide.

Some of his early hits include “Oh! Carol”, “Calendar Girl”, “Happy Birthday Sweet Sixteen”, “Breaking Up Is Hard to Do”, “Laughter in the Rain” and “Bad Blood”.
He additionally wrote songs such as “Stupid Cupid” (Connie Francis), “Love Will Keep Us Together” (Captain & Tennille), and “(Is This the Way to) Amarillo” (Tony Christie), which won him the Guinness World Records for “the most successful UK single of the 21st century.”
Sedaka has more than 500 songs to his credits, including collaborations with the likes of Howard “Howie” Greenfield and Phil Cody.
In 1983, he was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1983, and in 2006, he was inducted into the Long Island Music Hall of Fame.
