American actress and singer Stefanie Powers is alive and well. Stefanie Powers is now 80 years old and she devotes a significant amount of time to the subject and is a frequent worldwide guest speaker on wildlife conservation.

She spends much of her time in Africa, where she and her late partner William Holden spent a lot of time together. She posted a photo of herself and a rhino on Facebook in early March 2023, with the hashtag #conservationthrougheducation.

She  tweeted a snapshot of herself in a bamboo grove on a farm in Kenya in May 2022. She remarked that she was practising “natural agriculture,” and supporters applauded her efforts once more.

Powers shared a photo of herself with a newborn elephant in 2019. The image was used to raise awareness about the ivory trade, which directly harms elephants because their tusks are poached.

She dedicated herself to heading the William Holden Wildlife Foundation when Holden died. The Kenya-based nonprofit supports the humane treatment and conservation of wildlife creatures.

Powers, a 20-year smoker, was diagnosed with alveolar carcinoma, a kind of lung cancer, in November 2008. On January 29, 2009, she underwent surgery to remove a portion of her right lung.
