Dricus Du Plessis brothers: Meet Niel du Plessis and WC du Plessis

Dricus Du Plessis grew up with his two brothers – Niel du Plessis and WC du Plessis.

Niel is also an MMA fighter, who began his career in 2016 and fights under the Extreme Fighting Championship.

WC on the other hand, is the older one, but not much information is available about him.

Dricus Du Plessis MMA Career

Dricus du Plessis’ mixed martial arts (MMA) career has been very successful, since he turned pro in 2012, and competing in various promotions before joining the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).

After Du Plessis turned pro, he made a name for himself in South Africa MMA, fighting for the Extreme Fighting Championship (EFC) Worldwide promotion.

In November 2014, du Plessis won the EFC Welterweight Championship after defeating Henry Fadipe, defending the title twice before moving up to the middleweight division.

In October 2016, du Plessis won the vacant EFC Middleweight Championship, and defended the middleweight belt once before leaving the EFC promotion.

Du Plessis made his debut in the UFC in 2020, and faced Markus Perez, winning the fight by a knockout.

Du Plessis is a two-time EFC Middleweight, a former EFC Welterweight Champion, and a former KSW Welterweight Champion.
