George Springer is 33 years old professional baseball player who is primarily known for his time in Major League Baseball (MLB). He was born on September 19, 1989, in New Britain, Connecticut, United States.

He played college baseball at the University of Connecticut, where he was named Big East Conference Baseball Player of the Year and a First Team All-American.
The Astros selected Springer in the first round (11th overall) of the 2011 MLB draft. He made his MLB debut in 2014 for the Astros. Springer was named an MLB All-Star, won the Silver Slugger Award, and won the World Series in 2017.

George Springer was also voted the 2017 World Series MVP after hitting a record-tying five home runs as the Houston Astros defeated the Los Angeles Dodgers in seven games. He was named an All-Star again in 2018, 2019, and 2022.
In 189 at bats, Springer batted.265/.359/.540 with 37 runs, 14 home runs (7th in the AL), 32 RBIs, and five hits by pitch (tied for ninth in the AL).
