Australian professional cricketer Matt Renshaw has played as an opening batsman for his nation in the longest version of the game (Tests). He has participated in all three forms for Queensland in the domestic Australian circuit (2014–15–Present). In the BBL (Big Bash League), he has also played for the Adelaide Strikers (2020-21-2021-22) and Brisbane Heat (2017-18-2019-20). Outside of Australia, Matt has also participated in domestic cricket for the Somerset County Cricket Club (in 2018 and 2022) and Kent County Cricket Club (in 2019) in England.

He first gained notoriety during the 2015–16 Sheffield Shield season—Australia’s top domestic first-class cricket competition—when he struck his first-ever first-class century—a 170 run innings for Queensland against New South Wales.
