Zion Suzuki is a footballer of Japanese heritage, who serves as goalkeeper for the Japanese football club Urawa Red Diamonds.

Suzuki was born on August 21, 2002, in Little Rock, Arkansas, United States, and also plays for the Japan national team.

He has played for Japan at the U-15, U-16, U-17 and U-18 levels, and won his first cap with the senior team, during the 2022 EAFF E-1 Football Championship.

Suzuki joined the Urawa Reds at age 16, becoming the youngest player in the club’s history to sign a professional contract.

In 2021, he made his junior debut in a match against Vegalta Sendai. So far he has won a few honours being a player for the Reds, including the Emperor’s Cup in 2021, the Japanese Super Cup, and the AFC Champions League in 2022.
