Xavier Dolan is a Canadian filmmaker, actor, and screenwriter. As of this writing, Xavier Dolan  does not have any kids.

He began his career as a commercial child actor before going on to helm several arthouse feature films.  He first received international acclaim in 2009 for his feature film directorial debut, I Killed My Mother (J’ai tué ma mère), in which he also starred, wrote, and produced.

Since then, Dolan has directed and written several notable films, including “Heartbeats” (Les amours imaginaires, 2010), “Laurence Anyways” (2012), “Mommy” (2014), and “It’s Only the End of the World” (Juste la fin du monde, 2016).

Dolan has received numerous awards for his work, including the Jury Prize at the Cannes Film Festival in 2014 for Mommy and the Grand Prix at the Cannes Film Festival in 2016 for It’s Only the End of the World. He has also received a number of Canadian Screen Awards and César Awards.

In addition to making films, he has also directed music videos, most notably for Adele’s singles “Hello” (2015) and “Easy on Me” (2021), for which he received a Grammy Award nomination for Best Music Video.
