Whose security guard hit Britney Spears?

According to TMZ, Britney Spears was smacked by a member of NBA player Victor Wembanyama’s security squad in Las Vegas.

It incident happened around 11 p.m. on Wednesday, July5 2023,  at the Aria Hotel’s Catch restaurant. According to reports, Spears was there with her husband, Sam Asghari, and two other people.

Britney Spears took to Instagram Thursday, to share her story. She revealed that she just tapped him on the shoulder to get his attention to congratulate him on being drafted.

“His security then back handed me in the face without looking back, in front of a crowd,” she claimed.  “Nearly knocking me down and causing my glasses to fall off my face.”

“I have yet to receive a public apology from the player, his security or their organization,” she wrote, adding, “I hope they will.”

According to the sources, the head of security of Victor Wembanyama “went over to Britney and apologised” while their respective “security teams chatted for a while.” According to the insider, “a police report was filed by Britney’s team.” The report’s specifics have yet to be published.

Victor Wembanyama shared his side of the story on Thursday. In a media scrum recorded by KENS-TV’s Nate Ryan. “That person grabbed me from behind,” Wembanyama said, referring to Spears, in Ryan’s video.

“Not on my shoulder, she grabbed me from behind. And so I just know the security pushed her away.”
