The two-time BAFTA Award nominee is known for appearing as Remus Lupin in the Harry Potter franchise, and Ares / Sir Patrick Morgan in Wonder Woman.

Following his acting debut in the 1987 film Little Dorrit, Thewlis has gone on to appear in several other films such as Sweet, Naked, Black Beauty, Restoration, James and the Giant Peach, Dragonheart, and Seven Years in Tibet.

Thewlis also starred in “Kingdom of Heaven, The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas, War Horse, The Theory of Everything, Anomalisa, I’m Thinking of Ending Things, and Enola Holmes 2.”
