John Gibson is a professional ice hockey goaltender for the Anaheim Ducks of the National Hockey League (NHL). He is the son of Jack Gibson and Sue Gibson.

His parents have always encouraged and supported him throughout his entire ice hockey career Gibson’s hockey journey began in the United States Hockey League (USHL) with the Green Bay Gamblers.

John Gibson was selected by the Anaheim Ducks in the second round, 39th overall, of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft. After being drafted, Gibson went on to play college hockey for the University of Michigan for the 2011-2012 season before turning pro.

He then joined the Ducks’ AHL affiliate, the Norfolk Admirals, where he showcased his talent and helped them win the Calder Cup in 2012.

Gibson made his NHL debut with the Anaheim Ducks during the 2013-2014 season. Throughout his NHL career, Gibson has earned numerous accolades and achievements.

He has represented the United States in international competitions, including the IIHF World Championships and the World Cup of Hockey. Gibson earned a bronze medal with Team USA’s senior squad in the 2013 IIHF World Championships, posting a 1.56 GAA and.951 save percentage.
