My Best Days singer Danny Gokey was born to his father, Charles Gokey and a mother, whose name is still undisclosed.

Gokey is the fifth of six children. He has a brother, Charles, and four sisters – Angela, Janell, Gina, and Tracey.
Danny Gokey Music Career
Danny Gokey has collaborated with a number of artists, including Natalie Grant, who he toured with on the 2016 “Celebrate Christmas Tour”.
Throughout his career, Gokey has received several award nominations, including Grammy nominations for his work in the Christian music genre.
Gokey first gained fame with his participation on the eighth season of “American Idol” in 2009, where he finished third place.

Following his time on “American Idol,” Gokey bagged a record deal with 19 Recordings/RCA Nashville and released his debut album, “My Best Days,” in 2010.
The album ranked number four on the Billboard 200 chart and number one on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart, abd featured the hit single “My Best Days Are Ahead of Me,” which ranked amongst top 30 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart.
Subsequently, Gokey released other albums including “Hope in Front of Me”, “Christmas Is Here”, “Rise”, and “Haven’t Seen It Yet”, all having elements of pop, country, and gospel.
Some of Gokey’s hit singles include “We All Need Jesus”, “Stand in Faith”, “He Believes in You”, “Agradecido” and “Do for Love”.
