Connor Hellebuyck was drafted by the Winnipeg Jets in the fifth round, 130th overall, in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft. He made his NHL debut during the 2015-2016 season and has been the Jets’ starting goaltender since then.
Connor Hallebuyck currently plays for the Winnipeg Jets of the National Hockey League (NHL). The United States selected Hellebuyck to compete in the 2015 Men’s World Ice Hockey Championships. He helped Team USA earn a bronze medal in the tournament.
His seven victories tied a US record set in 1939 for the most in a single tournament. Hellebuyck was picked to Team North America’s preliminary roster for the 2016 World Cup of Hockey.
