Josh Bailey is a Canadian professional ice hockey winger who is currently a free agent. He most recently played for the National Hockey League’s (NHL) New York Islanders. The Islanders selected him ninth overall in the 2008 NHL Entry draft.

Josh Bailey played his 1,000th NHL game against the Carolina Hurricanes on October 28, 2022. He is only the third Islanders player to have played in all 1,000 games.

Bailey was traded to the Chicago Blackhawks on June 29, 2023, along with a 2026 second-round draft pick for future considerations. The team immediately placed him on unconditional waivers in order to purchase his contract.
