Corey Perry Parents: Meet Nancy Perry, Geoff Perry

Corey Perry is a professional ice hockey player from Canada. He is the son of Nancy and Geoff Perry.

His father Geoff Perry is in law enforcement. When Corey was two years old, he and his brother Adam began skating lessons. He and his family moved from Haileybury, Ontario to Peterborough, Ontario when he was ten years old.

Corey Perry currently plays for the Chicago Blackhawks. However, he was drafted in the first round (28th overall) by the Anaheim Ducks in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft. He spent the majority of his NHL career with the Ducks, playing with them from 2005 to 2019

Perry helped lead the Ducks to success, including a Stanley Cup championship in 2007. He won the Hart Memorial Trophy as the league’s most valuable player in the 2010-2011 season, becoming the first Ducks player to receive the award.

Throughout his career, Corey Perry has been recognized for his achievements and contributions to the sport of ice hockey. Perry won gold medals with Canada in the 2010 and 2014 Winter Olympics.

He joined the Triple Gold Club after captaining Canada to gold at the 2016 IIHF World Championships, in addition to the Stanley Cup and an Olympic gold medal.
