David Reinbacher is a professional ice hockey defenseman from Austria. He was born in Hohenems, Austria.

He represented Team Austria at the 2023 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships, playing for over 26 minutes a game.
David Reinbacher currently plays for EHC Kloten in Switzerland’s National League (NL). David Reinbacher began his career in Switzerland with Rheintal and Bülach before moving to Kloten at the age of 15.
Reinbacher made his professional debut in the Swiss League during the 2021-22 season after appearing in the junior ranks of EHC Kloten.

Reinbacher established himself as a regular on the Kloten Flyers blueline in the club’s return to the National League in his first full season the following 2022-23 season, despite being only 18 years old.
In 46 games as an 18-year-old in a men’s league, Reinbacher scored 22 points. The Montreal Canadiens selected him fifth overall in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft.
