Chad Kroeger is a singer-songwriter, guitarist, and the lead vocalist of the rock band Nickelback.

Born on November 15, 1974, in Alberta, Canada, Kroeger had first sang with the cover band, Village Idiot, as far back as the 1990s.

In 2001, he founded the band The Suits XL, and later co-founded the Vancouver-based 604 Records. His band, Suits XL became a nominee for a Canadian Indie Award in 2007.

In terms of singing and songwriting, Kroeger has done a number of collaborations with many artistes such as “Saliva vocalist Josey Scott, Theory of a Deadman lead vocalist, Tyler Connolly and Our Lady Peace drummer Jeremy Taggart.” They had all performed the Spider-Man theme song “Hero” in 2002.
