Considering that she played an integral part in science and engineering, and also doubled as a lecturer, it is understandable that he was able to rake in such a great amount of wealth over the years.

She worked in the field of electron microscopy, and professor of applied and engineering physics at Cornell University. Her research focuses on the use of an aberration-corrected scanning transmission electron microscope, providing atomic resolution, at cryogenic temperatures (>77K) to study physical processes such as superconductivity and biological structures such as proteins.
“Lena was an outstanding citizen of the department and the university. Her all-around excellence truly paced her in a class by herself, and she was deeply loved and admired by her students and faculty colleagues,” Director of Cornell University, Chris Xu shared.
