The decision comes after David Corenswet was among the few chosen to test in full costume and makeup for the parts in front of DC co-chairs Peter Safran and Gunn who is directing.
The men were tested over two days, with one of the days seeing the three actors dressed as Superman. According to sources close to the situation, each actor had closed test deals that would expire in two business weeks, indicating that all parties wanted to get this resolved before the potential SAG-AFTRA strike, which could go into effect at midnight June 30.
