Philippine-born Japanese professional golfer Yuka Saso has won multiple championship titles in her golfing career.

Since turning professional in 2019, she has competed on various tours, including the Japan LPGA Tour and the Ladies European Tour.
She earned her first professional win at the 2020 NEC Karuizawa 72 Golf Tournament on the Japan LPGA Tour.
Yuka Saso made history by winning the U.S. Women’s Open in June 2021. This victory marked her first major championship title and made her the first Filipino golfer to win a major tournament.

In addition to these notable victories, Saso has achieved success in other professional tournaments, both on the Japan LPGA Tour and the Ladies European Tour. Yuka Saso finished 2nd with a tournament-leading -8 in Round 4 of the 2023 Women’s PGA Championship Sunday, June 25 2023.
Yuka Saso started training in the sport of golf at the age of eight in 2009. She represented the Philippines until 2021, having won the country’s first gold medal in both the women’s individual and team events at the Asian Games. She began playing for Japan in 2022.
