Tim Feige and Maralyn Feige are the parents of American film producer, Kevin Feige. Maralyn’s father, Robert E. Short was a television producer in the 1950s. He worked on soap operas including The Guiding Light and As The World Turns.

Born on June 2, 1973, Kevin Feige and his family moved to New Jersey at the age of eight and lived there until he was 18 when he graduated from Westfield High School.

After high school, he attended the University of Southern California, where some of his favorite directors like George Lucas, Ron Howard, and Robert Zemeckis also attended.
According to sources, Feige’s first five applications for the USC School of Cinematic Arts were rejected, but fortunately, he got accepted on the sixth trial. He graduated in 1995 with a degree in film and also received an honorary doctorate in 2023.
Some of his early works include Volcano and You’ve Got Mail where he served as an assistant to executive producer, Lauren Shuler Donner.
