Redgrave who comes from a family of actors, made her acting debut in 1960, starring alongside her father in The Tiger and the Horse. Her breakthrough came the following year, when she played Rosalind in the Shakespearean comedy As You Like It.

Redgrave appeared as Queen Margaret in Richard III (2016). She became famous in 1961, after she played Rosalind in the Shakespearean comedy As You Like It, a role which won her awards.

Some of her acting credits include “A Man for All Seasons, Blowup, Camelot, Dropout, The Devils, Vacation, Murder on the Orient Express, Prick Up Your Ears, Mission: Impossible, Atonement, Letters to Juliet, Coriolanus, Cars 2, and The Butler.”

For her diverse film roles, the triple crown actress has won several awards such as an “Olivier Award, a Tony Award, Academy Award, two Primetime Emmy Awards, the BAFTA Fellowship Award, the Golden Lion Honorary Award, and an induction into the American Theatre Hall of Fame.”
