How did Raye become famous?

Raye gained fame through her talent as a singer, songwriter, and performer. She found fame after being featured on the commercially successful singles “By Your Side, “You Don’t Know Me”, “Secrets” and “Bed”

Raye’s talent as a songwriter also caught the attention of industry professionals. She started co-writing songs for various artists, including Charli XCX, Beyoncé, Little Mix, David Guetta, John Legend, and Ellie Goulding.

She received a BMI Award in 2019 for her groundbreaking artistry, creative vision, and impact on the future of music. She has been nominated for four Brit Awards, won an Ivor Novello Award, and a Global Award, and finished third in the BBC’s Sound of… poll in 2017.
