Considering that he was a professional boxer for years and also ventured into other businesses like restaurants, it is understandable if he was able to rake in such a great amount of wealth over the years.

Gattellati died on June 23, 2023, after suffering from a prolonged battle with dementia. He was 91. One of his daughters named Diana announced his death in a heartfelt tribute.

“My dad was always the life of the party and always had the biggest smile on his face. He always said that ‘When I go I want a party, I don’t want mourning, I don’t want sadness’, so that’s what we’re looking to do. I can’t really think about it at the moment but we want to celebrate his life. He was the life of the party and even to the end he would try to smile,” she said.
