Ewan Mitchell is an English actor who has appeared in the ITV historical drama The Halcyon, the medieval series The Last Kingdom, the BBC military drama World on Fire, and the HBO fantasy series House of the Dragon.

He’s also acted in the ITV crime thriller Trigger Point and Claire Denis’ film High Life. Mitchell began his acting career after graduating from high school in 2015, with roles in the short films Stereotype and Fire.

Mitchell portrayed Billy Washington in the ITV murder thriller Trigger Point in 2022. Later the same year, Mitchell began starring as Prince Aemond Targaryen in the HBO fantasy series House of the Dragon, a Game of Thrones prequel and adaptation of George R. R. Martin’s fictional history novel Fire and Blood.
