Who was Frederic Forrest? ‘When the Legends Die’ Actor Dead at 86

American actor, Frederic Forrest has been reported dead by his close friend and actor, Barry Primus. He shared that his fellow actor died after a prolonged illness at the age of 86. His death occurred on June 23, 2023. He made his debut film appearance in the 1973 movie When the Legends Die.

He was best known for several roles including the Chef in Apocalypse Now. He started his career as a stage actor in an off-Broadway production of Viet Rock. He made his television appearance when he played Captain Richard Jenko on the first season of the Fox Television series 21 Jump Street in 1987, making it one of his first tv appearances. However, he was subsequently replaced by actor Steven Williams, who played Captain Adam Fuller for the remainder of the series.

Forrest went on to star in numerous movies and tv shows before his demise. Some of them include Murphy Brown, Point Blank, The Spreading Ground, Militia, A Piece of Eden, The House Next Door, The Quality of Light, All the King’s Men, Shadow Hours, and more.
