Amir is a musician from Iran and one of the first hip hop and R&B singers to emerge from Iran.

Born on September 21, 1987, in Tehran, Iran, Amir is known to have been involved in several controversies, including multiple arrests in Iran by the Islamic Republic authorities.

Amir launched his music career in 2003 as an underground musician, and has since gained grounds in the industry and on social media. In 2021, he made history by having the most comments on YouTube with 19 million words.

Amir is also the first Iranian to reach 1 million followers on Instagram.

Amir has released 16 albums under the Universal Music and the Tataloo label, following the release of his debut album, Zire Hamkaf, in 2011. He is “the first Iranian to release a song under Universal Music Group.”

Amir has released several singles including Sheytan (2021), Fereshteh (2021), Sahm (2022), Boht (2022), Cosmos (2022), and Behesht (2023), all delivered with a blend of pop, rap and R&B.
