Popular rapper Amir Tataloo was born in Tehran, Iran, on September 21, 1987.

Beginning from the early 2000s, Amir has gained a large following among the youth in and across Iran.

Amir is on Instagram with over a million followers. He is the first Iranian to reach 1 million followers on Instagram.

In 2021, Amir made history by having the most comments on YouTube with 19 million words.

Amir is notable for his energetic performances and controversial lyrics bordering on social and political issues. His debut album, Zire Hamkaf, was released in 2011.
Some of Amir’s fan-favourite singles include Sheytan, Fereshteh, Sahm, Boht, Cosmos, and Behesht, all delivered with a blend of pop, rap and R&B.
Others include “Bezar Too Hale Khodam Basham,” “Ye Chizi Begoo,” and “Madar.”
Amir is known to be quite controversial. He was arrested in Turkey, in 2020, over allegations of encouraging young people in the country to use hard drugs and for promoting corruption.
