Noah Centineo took over the role of Jesus on The Fosters originally played by Jake T. Austin. Austin played Jesus for seasons 1 and 2 of The Fosters, and Noah Centineo played the character for the remaining seasons of the show.

According to Jake T. Austin in a tweet, he wanted different roles and that’s why he made the decision to say goodbye to his role in The Fosters.
