The Belgian professional footballer Aster Jan Vranckx plays as a midfielder for Serie A club AC Milan, on loan from Bundesliga club VfL Wolfsburg and the Belgium national team.
Vranckx commenced his football career at SC Hoegaarden, KVK Tienen, and Woluwe-Zaventem prior to joining the youth system of Mechelen.

On December 3, 2018, he signed his first professional contract with Mechelen and his debut in the 2019 Belgian Super Cup.
After Vranckx announced on December 9, 2020, that he chose to play for VfL Wolfsburg, he then made a move to VfL Wolfsburg in the early part of 2021.
He was loaned AC Milan on September 1, 2022, on a season-long loan, with an option to buy.
Internationally, Vranckx represented the Belgium national team at under-15, under-16, under-19, and under-21 levels before being called up to the senior side in June 2023.
