Born on 27 August 1997, Paquetá arrived in Flamengo in 2007 at the age of 10.
Five years later, he became technically skilled. However, he did not have the physicality of other players his age as he stood at only 5 ft tall.
In 2016, he won the Copa São Paulo de Júniores title, the most important youth tournament in Brazil with the Flamengo youth team.
Paqueta who currently plies his trade at West Ham has also played for AC Milan and Lyon.
