Mike Faist is an American actor and singer. Michael David Faist was born in Gahanna, Ohio and adopted by Julia and Kurt Faist.

The family owns a real estate company. Faist met his birth mother and her family, who are mostly pilots when he was 17 years old. He learned to fly from his eldest half-brother. Since then, Faist has obtained his pilot’s licence.
Faist realised as a child that he wanted to work in the performing arts. He persuaded his parents to enroll him in dance classes when he was five, and he began auditioning for community theatre and children’s theatre.

He first appeared as a member of the Lollipop Guild in a Columbus Children’s Theatre production of The Wizard of Oz before moving on to the casts of Oliver! and Alice in Wonderland. He fell in love with acting while attending The Academy of Performing Arts (TAPA) company in Columbus, Ohio, and he acted in several productions at Gahanna Lincoln High School, including Danny.
Outside of theatre, Faist has also ventured into television and film. He has appeared in TV series such as “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” and “The Code,” as well as the film adaptation of “Dear Evan Hansen” released in 2021, in which he reprised his role as Connor Murphy.
