How old was Kimora Lee when she met Ex-Husband Russell Simmons?

American fashion model, fashion designer, and businesswoman Kimora Lee Simmons was 17 years old when she first met her ex-husband American entrepreneur Russell Simmons.

They met in November 1992 when Kimora was attending a modelling event during New York Fashion Week. At the time, Russell Simmons was 35 years old.

They began dating shortly after and got married in December 1998 when Kimora was 23 years old and Russell was 41.

Kimora Lee Simmons and Russell Simmons divorced in 2009 after being married for about 10 years.  She asked for full legal and physical custody of their children, and he asked for ‘reasonable child visitation to be accompanied at all times by the children’s nanny and security personnel.’

Although the reason why they divorced is not publicly known, there were rumours and reports of infidelity on Russell Simmons’ part during their marriage. These allegations, along with other conflicts and disagreements, reportedly contributed to the deterioration of their relationship.
