Ruben Neves Career
Ruben Neves’ career journey began at the Portuguese club FC Porto, and advanced into making his professional debut for the team’s senior squad in 2014, at age 17.
Born on March 13, 1997, in Mozelos, Portugal, Neves now plays as a midfielder for the Premier League club Wolverhampton Wanderers, and serves as the team’s captain.
Neves also plays for the Portugal national team, and has participated in major tournaments such as the UEFA Nations League and the UEFA European Championship.

When Neves played with FC Porto, he became the youngest captain in the club’s history and the youngest captain in the history of the UEFA Champions League.
Consequently, when Neves was transferred to English club Wolverhampton Wanderers, he helped the club qualify for the Premier League in his first year.
In 2022, he made his 200th appearance for Wolves during a match against Tottenham Hotspur.
