Who is Maksim Chmerkovskiy’s Wife Peta Murgatroyd

Peta Jane Murgatroyd is a professional Latin dancer from Australia and the United States. She is the wife of Maksim Chmerkovskiy a Ukrainian-American professional dancer and choreographer.

The couple began dating on and off in 2012. In 2015, Chmerkovskiy confirmed that he and Murgatroyd were back together. They got engaged on December 5, 2015, during a performance of Sway: A Dance Trilogy in Miami, Florida.

Shai, their son, was born on January 4, 2017. On July 8, 2017, the couple married at Oheka Castle in Long Island, New York. Murgatroyd revealed in June 2022 that she had three miscarriages between 2020 and 2021 and was undergoing invitro fertilisation to try to have another child.

It was revealed in early 2023 that she is pregnant with the couple’s second child via natural conception. They welcomed their second child on Sunday, June 18 2023.

Peta Murgatroyd appeared in the international tour and Broadway run of the dance production Burn the Floor. She is best known for her appearances on Dancing with the Stars, which she and her partners have won twice.
