English singer and songwriter, Howard Donald reportedly has an estimated net worth of around $40 million. Considering that he has been in the music industry for over forty years, it is understandable that he has been able to rake in such a great amount of wealth over the years.

He began his entertainment career as a Disc Jockey who also danced and frequented the burgeoning breakdancing circuit in the Greater Manchester area.
In the late 1980s, he auditioned for Nigel Martin-Smith’s new boy band project at his office in Manchester and was selected. The group was named Take That after a long deliberation.
Donald was recruited by Nigel Martin-Smith along with Gary Barlow, Jason Orange, Mark Owen, and Robie Williams to form the band, Take That. After a successful five-year career in the band, Williams left in 1995, however, the group continued as a quartet.

In 1996, Barlow, Owen, and Orange came to the difficult decision that Take That was to split. The decision was very tough on Donald as he did not agree in the beginning, however, he accepted it and parted ways as well.
Donald pursued a solo career as an artiste after the split, and recorded an unreleased single dubbed Speak Without Words, and also returned to DJing. In 2005, the band released a documentary – Take That: For the Record – where Donald confessed that he was unstable and suicidal after they split.
That same year, he reformed and announced a reunion tour, The Ultimate Tour in the summer of 2006, following the release of their Greatest Hits album Never Forget: The Ultimate Collection.
The band went on to release their first studio album – Beautiful World – since 1995. They achieved two major hit songs off the album Patience and Shine. In 2010, the band also released an album titled Progress, where Donald sang lead vocals on the track Affirmation.
