Nathan Lee Chasing His Horse is a Native American actor who developed a reputation among tribes throughout the United States and Canada as a so-called medicine man who claimed to perform healing ceremonies and, according to police, abused young Native American girls.

Nathan Chasing Horse was arrested in January 2023 on charges of multiple sex crimes against Indigenous girls. His arrest was the culmination of a months-long investigation that began in October 2022 after police received a tip.

Nathan Lee Chasing is charged with 18 felonies in the Las Vegas case, including sexual assault on a minor, child abuse, and kidnapping.

He is also facing criminal charges in the British Columbia village of Keremeos, the United States District Court for the District of Nevada, and the Fort Peck Indian Reservation in Montana.

The Las Vegas case has been put on hold indefinitely while Chasing Horse awaits a decision on his appeal to the Nevada Supreme Court, which he filed last month, asking for his indictment to be dismissed.

Chasing Horse is believed to be the leader of a cult known as The Circle, according to a 50-page search warrant obtained by AP.
