On this sad day, a thought for Francesco Nuti. For the many years of these fifteen years of pain. But also for the laughs he gave us. For me, Caruso Pascoski (from a Polish father) wins over everything and will remain THE funniest film of my youth,” Matteo Renzi said in a tribute post.

Nuti’s career in directing faced a few challenges as some of his movies flopped at the cinemas, which led him to suffer from depression and alcoholism. Some of these movies include OcchioPinocchio (1994), Mr. Fifteen Balls (1998), Io amo Andrea (2000), Caruso Zero for Conduct (2001)and more.
