Francesco Nuti Death: How did Francesco Nuti die?

Francesco Nuti died after a short illness on Monday, June 12, 2023, according to his daughter, Ginevra Nuti. He was 68 years old. No further details were added.

He began his acting career in the late ’70s when he formed the cabaret group ‘Giancattivi’ with Alessandro Benvenuti and Athina Cenci. They made their debut appearances on tv in the shows Black Out and Non-Stop for RAI TV.

“On this sad day, a thought for Francesco Nuti. For the many years of these fifteen years of pain. But also for the laughs he gave us. For me, Caruso Pascoski (from a Polish father) wins over everything and will remain THE funniest film of my youth,” Matteo Renzi said in a tribute post.

Nuti’s career in directing faced a few challenges as some of his movies flopped at the cinemas, which led him to suffer from depression and alcoholism. Some of these movies include OcchioPinocchio (1994), Mr. Fifteen Balls (1998), Io amo Andrea (2000), Caruso Zero for Conduct (2001), and more.
