The accident caused him a subdural hematoma that led to serious cerebral damage, leaving him unable to speak or move. In the following years, a few public appearances on Italian television publicly displayed his disabled condition, triggering both a powerful response from Nuti’s fans and outrage for what was perceived as a ruthless exploitation of his suffering.

Unfortunately, Nuti fell again on September 21, 2016, which hospitalized him in critical condition again.

He began his acting career in the late ’70s when he formed the cabaret group ‘Giancattivi’ with Alessandro Benvenuti and Athina Cenci. They made their debut appearances on tv in the shows Black Out and Non-Stop for RAI TV.
