Who Is Katey Sagal?

Katey Sagal is an actress and singer, best known for appearing as Peggy Bundy, in the TV sitcom “Married… with Children,” from 1987 to 1997.

Born on January 19, 1954, in Los Angeles, California, Sagal began her career in the entertainment industry as a singer, and was part of the music band The Harlettes as far back as 1978.

She had also released a number of albums, mixtapes and singles in rock, pop and country genres.

After Sagal gained fame with the film “Married… with Children,” she went on to appear on other film productions such as “8 Simple Rules”, “Sons of Anarchy”, and “The Conners”.

In the Matt Groening animated sci-fi comedy series “Futurama”, Sagal voiced the role of Leela, the one-eyed spaceship pilot.

Other TV works she has appeared in are “The Big Bang Theory”, “Lost”, “Maid to Order”, “House Broken”, and “Pitch Perfect 2”.

In 2021, Sagal played lead character Annie “Rebel” Bello in the series Rebel, and in 2022, Sagal was called to voice the character Leela in a 20-episode remake of “Futurama.”

    That picture of her in the article is something else, that is one woman who has aged well. As for the writing in this article, it is insensitive to say the least. First, you just kinda throw out in the first sentence that “she had a stillborn”. Then you call it a “pathetic situation”, like she got had to go to rehab or got picked up for drunk driving. You talk about it like it’s her fault somehow. THINK. Is this how you’d want people to talk about you? Probably not, so why are you writing like that?
