Who Is Paulo Sousa?
Paulo Sousa is a former football midfielder and current football manager of Italian Serie A club Salernitana.
Born on 30 August 1970, in Viseu, Portugal, Sousa recorded a successful playing career, as a midfielder playing for various clubs in Portugal, Italy, Germany, and England.

Sousa had played for Benfica, Sporting Lisbon, Juventus, Borussia Dortmund, Inter Milan, as well as the Portuguese national team, earning 51 caps and representing Portugal in major tournaments like the UEFA European Championship and the FIFA World Cup.

Sousa began his coaching career in 2005 as an assistant coach for the Portuguese national team.
In 2008, he began coaching Queens Park Rangers in England but after five months, he moved to Swansea City.
Sousa has so far coached Leicester City, Videoton FC in Hungary, Maccabi Tel Aviv in Israel, Fiorentina in Italy, and Basel in Switzerland, where he won a Swiss Super League title.
He has also successfully managed the Portuguese national under-16 and under-17 teams.
