Mischa Zverev had a very successful junior career, reaching the semifinals of the US Open and the quarterfinals of Roland Garros and the Australian Open in 2004.

Mischa Zverev turned pro in 2005 and achieved his career-high singles ranking of world No. 25 on 24 July 2017, breaking into the top 100 for the first time. He is known for his serve-and-volley style and his strong net game.
