Travis Rudolph Parents: Meet Darryl Rudolph, Linda Rudolph

Travis Rudolph is a former American football player who played as a wide receiver. He is the son of Darryl Rudolph and Linda Rudolph.

Darryl Rudolph, Rudolph’s father, was shot and killed while working as a maintenance worker at a West Palm Beach strip club in April 2017, just days before the 2017 NFL Draft.

Darryl Rudolph was working in a back storage room when a coworker in an adjacent room accidentally discharged a rifle while moving it off a shelf, according to police. The bullet pierced the wall and struck Darryl in the neck.

Rudolph gained significant attention during his college football career at Florida State University, where he played from 2014 to 2016. He had a successful tenure at FSU, setting several records and earning recognition as an All-ACC (Atlantic Coast Conference) player.

After his college career, Travis Rudolph declared for the NFL Draft in 2017 but went undrafted. However, he signed as an undrafted free agent with the New York Giants and played for them during the 2017 season. Rudolph had 101 yards on eight receptions during his NFL career but did not score a touchdown.
