Former professional Chinese snooker player Li Hang was permanently barred from competing in 2023 after committing a number of match-fixing offences.

The WPBSA suspended Li from the professional tour in December 2022 due to a match-fixing investigation. It charged him with fixing a match, being involved in fixing matches, approaching a player to fix a match, attempting to obstruct the investigation, and betting on snooker matches in January 2023.
Li received a lifetime ban from the professional competition as a result of an independent disciplinary tribunal and was ordered to pay £43,000 in costs.

Li was a wildcard entry in the China Open as an amateur player for three years in a row beginning in 2006. In 2006 and 2008, he lost at this stage, but in 2007, he defeated Ian Preece 5-4 to advance to the first round of a ranking event for the first time, where he was defeated 1-5 by 1997 world champion Ken Doherty.
Li made his professional debut in the 2008-09 season. During his professional career, his best performances were reaching two ranking semi-finals. In 2019, he climbed to 28th in the world snooker rankings, a career-high.
