Robert Bob Fillion and June Cookie Fillion are Nathan Fillion’s parents. His parents are retired school teachers. His father is of French-Canadian descent, and his mother is of English, German, Finnish, and Norwegian ancestry.

Nathan Fillion joined the cast of ABC’s Desperate Housewives at the beginning of the fall 2007 season (season 4), portraying Dr. Adam Mayfair. His final appearance was the final episode of season 4, in 2008.
